The
Municipality of Tanauan showcases its best young
talents tonight via the Search for Little Miss
Tanauan at the Tanauan Ampitheater.
Sponsored by the Tanauan Woman's Club, the Search
aims to develop young girls ages 4 to 8 into a
well-rounded children, aware of their God-given
talents and their rights as children. |

The Search is the Tanauan Woman's Club's contribution
as the town celebrates Tanauan Day on August 15
by virtue of a law passed by Congress through
the sponsorship of the late Congressman Roy Montejo.
It is also the Tanauan Woman's Club's way of paying
tribute to the Patroness of Tanauan, Our Lady
of the Assumption whose feast day is also on August
15. |
| Ten
pretty and talented young girls from the various
barangays and pre-schools in Tanauan, will vie
for this year's Little Miss Tanauan title.
The candidates will outwit themselves from the
production number to the beach wear competition
and from the talent presentation to the gown competition
and question and answer portion. |
The Search which has always been a crowd-drawer,
is expected to get the interest not only of
the relatives of the young candidates, but the
people of Tanauan and the neighboring municipalities.
The Tanauan Young Singing Ambassadors composed
of young boys and girls ages 5 to 9 and who
are scholars in voice of the LGU, will also
be featured in tonight's Search.

The members of the board of Judges include the
municipal mayor of Alang-alang, Leyte, the president
of the Tanauananons in Southern California Ms.
Josie Ramos and the wife of a prospective investor
from Holland.
The hosts for tonight's search are former titleholders
of the Search.
